I was a voracious reader by the time I was six. At age twelve I wrote a musical with my sister and a friend. I've been writing in one form or another ever since. 

 

For many years I plied the singer-songwriter trade and am probably best known for the music I created with Mike Bierylo, Micky Pipes and George Bunder in the band, Body Politics. Along the way there were forays into theater, film and television, in the spotlight and behind the scenes, but music was the thing.

As it happens, writing music morphed into writing sctreen plays, and then into long form fiction. Same itch, different scratch, but now writing fiction seems like it may have been the destination all along. Of course, that's the beauty of creative evolution. You're always where you're supposed to be.

 

My wife Joan and I currently reside on the east coast after many years in Southern California.
